Guards names are listed and starting dates
assigned according to: (1) years of service completed on the Sea Isle City
Beach Patrol and (2) guards with the same number of years of service are
listed on a first received first listed basis. Qualifying before one is
scheduled to start working may lead to an earlier starting date in
the event a spot becomes available.
Lifeguards who are concerned about working
fifty days in order to qualify for a year of service, are advised to
requalify (that includes physical examination) as soon as possible since
individualwork days often become available before scheduled
starting dates.
You cannot begin work until all
requalifications are completed and you have turned in your physical.
Lifeguards are required to notify the administration by beach patrol website
(phone calls are not acceptable) if they cannot meet the necessary
requirements to start work on their scheduled starting date. Returning
guards will lose their starting date if they do not begin work when
scheduled.

legally work six days in a one week period.
NOTE 2: The guards listed in red
ink are less than 18 years of age at the start of the season.
